His role in highlighting the humanitarian face of the State of Kuwait can be summarized in the following points: Communicating with the international community: H.E. Dr. Al-Matouq regu¬larly communicates with the international community and organizations. This interaction enhances his understanding of humanitarian needs in different coun¬tries and enables him to effectively direct efforts to achieve positive impact. Visits and inspections: His Excellency Dr. Al- Matouq not only directs efforts through offices and conferences, but also conducts field visits to affected coun¬tries and areas of displacement to understand the humanitarian situation first-hand and communicate with affected individuals. Diplomatic and Humanitarian Efforts: Dr. Al-Matouq has participated in in¬ternational working sessions and meetings dealing with critical humanitari¬an issues, such as the humanitarian issue in Syria and the Rohingya refugee issue in Burma and published these issues and drew global attention to them. Naming the State of Kuwait as a humanitarian centre: Kuwait has been des¬ignated as an international humanitarian centre by the United Nations. His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was named a humani¬tarian leader. This honor was a result of the tireless and continuous humani¬tarian efforts led by H.E.
